Guy Grooms, MD
A graduate of Brigham Young University in 1985 and Chicago Medical School in 1989, Dr. Grooms completed a surgical internship at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in 1989-90. As a general medical officer in the United States Marine Corp from 1990-93, he served in the Gulf War in 1990-91. He completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Massachusetts in 1997 and spent two years researching articular cartilage reconstruction.
Dr. Grooms is double board certified in orthopedic sports medicine and general orthopedic surgery. He specializes in shoulder surgery and treats most bone, joint, muscle, tendon and cartilage issues.
Brad Mangum, FNP-BC,DC
With bachelors degrees in Nursing and Health & Wellness, a Masters in Nursing from Samford University, a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Parker College, certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support and Board certified in Family Practice, Brad has made a lifetime commitment to helping others.
While his love of healthcare is evident, his true passion is orthopedics. He has assisted in thousands of orthopedic surgeries including, spine, trauma and general orthopedics. Over 700 of those cases were alongside Dr. Grooms in Oklahoma. The two have come together at NCMC to provide an exceptional orthopedic experience.
When he is not at work, Brad loves to spend time with his wife Lisa, their four children and thirteen grandchildren. He enjoys golf, team roping, and camping. A fan of John Wayne, Brad loves the western lifestyle of the area and the opportunities it provides to rekindle his ranching roots.
