The North Canyon Medical Center Foundation is a nonprofit 501c3 organization with no shareholders to whom profits are distributed. The NCMC Foundation serves to advise and assist efforts to raise funds from individuals, corporations, foundations and federal/state grants.
Quality local healthcare is critical for our families and our surrounding communities today and tomorrow. We realize the valuable asset we have with a state-of-the-art medical center and are committed to making sure our children and many generations to follow will have the same access to life-giving care.
The mission of the North Canyon Medical Center Foundation (NCMCF) is to promote and enhance the North Canyon Medical Center (NCMC) by providing a vehicle for fundraising, gifts, and memorials whereby individuals and organizations can support current and ongoing needs in an effort to improve the healthcare of people in our region.
Those who make donations to the NCMC Foundation can direct how contributions are utilized. Generally, your giving helps to support the mission of the foundation in three vital areas: capital improvement, endowment, and community support.
Capital Improvement: |
The NCMC Foundation helps purchase and upgrade critical medical equipment with donated proceeds. |
Endowment: |
The Foundation's endowment fund offers an avenue for individuals to help support programs and services for future generations. Donors may establish named endowment funds to support specific areas or simply provide financial support required to grow the existing fund. |
Community Support: |
The foundation also supports a variety of services that fill vital needs in the community that are distinct from direct medical support. You can help others educate themselves, maintain a healthy lifestyle, cope with loss, maintain dignity in their declining years, and have timely access to the health care system. |
